I'd want to be either Tokiko from Utena (obscure choice of character, but since I wouldn't make her stupid decisions re: Mikage-sama, life would be sweet ^_^) or Manx from Weiss Kreuz.

As for why, Tokiko has a charming, beautiful, super-intelligent, loyal, devoted, self-sacrificing, passionate, rich, stylish, caring, research scientist/professor madly in love with her. Add to this the fact that she's rather well-off herself: she's a government inspector with a lot of money, gorgeous clothes, perfect hair, and a kick-ass attitude. And why Manx? Well, she's Tokiko with shorter skirts, better hair, red lipstick and not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR hot guys whose very lives depend on the information she gives them. Plus Yohji hits on her a lot. In that case, it'd be nice to be -any- female in the WK universe.

Ryoko from Tenchi -- come on, it's Ryoko, I don't think that I need to explain.

Galaxy Frauline Yuna -- ok, she's friends with every woman in the universe and she can kick the ass of anyone in the universe. She's cute and she's funny. She just rules!

Utena -- She has a fun sense of style. She gets Anthy and she has the power of Dios. Plus, she can sword fight. Granted, half of her sword fighting ability comes from the power of Dios, but that's still all part of being Utena.

Urd from Ah! Megami-sama (Oh My Goddess!) -- Urd just kicks ass! She's a freaking goddess with a demon half plus she wears the best outfits and she's not shy about anything that she does or wants.

Misato from Evangelion -- I don't think that I need to explain that one either. It's Misato! Though maybe I'd rather be Kaji... but that's just cause he gets Misato. :P

I could probably go on and on for days as to who I'd want to be. It's like choosing my favorite anime, they are all so different that I don't think that I could ever pick my favorite.
