Roujin Z

I just watched Roujin Z today, some of the animations in it are very Akira - especially towards the end,
overall i thought it was a funny bastard of a movie with well set out themes... though the characters were a bit lacking though... and the loose ended ending was actually quite good

What does everyone else think?

this anime had its moments, I thought it was interesting. It is something which is okay to watch but I wouldn't worry about rushing out to buy it.

Not a lot of anime we see over here can be funny but not slapstick funny. A cool anime satire about the Japanese elderly population. I really liked it, but I'm not sure if I really want to tell everyone to go out and buy it. The charecters ARE kinnda thin. Yeh, I liked the ending to :)

yeah definitely agree with that,
by the way i never understood for sure if (SPOILER)

was the bed's 'brain' actually the old guy's wife's brain, or was it the computer sucking in his thoughts and making up the personality?
