The Encore Action channel is playing Blue Seed again starting tonight with the first 3 episodes. They will be shown again on Tuesday night as well. All 26 episodes will be shown unedited but no Omake Theatre though. Every Saturday night 3 more episodes will until the finish of the series (except the last week when 25 & 26 air). The start time varies, but it's always between 11PM Eastern time and Midnight. The only bad news is that you need satellite or digital cable to get this channel.

Yeah, they play alot of anime. Gunsmith Cats was on earlier today and they're playing Macross Plus on Sunday (today) and MacrossII later this week.
But on to Blue Seed.... Thanks to the Action channel I got to see the entire Blue Seed series with out spending any money plus I got to tape themtoo. I don't know about other countries, but in the US it is legal to tape anything that is broadcast into your home for personnel use.
only for personal use, its like burning CD's.....which i sell......hehehe.....
I don't get Encore Action Channel! :bawling:

I always wondered what was the actually time they show it. They always have a commercial advertising it, but never have an exact time. So thanks for somewhat clearing it up for me.
I saw one of the eps last night, what is the show about?

What? The Action channel? Go ahead it's good.
I didn't know they did until one day last fall I was flipping channels and Patlabor was on. They play somrthing every Saturday night sometime between 11Pm and midnight Eastern time and replay it on the following Tuesday night same time. The time is different because they only play movies and the times don't come out even. They also play stuff during the week too. New Dominion Tank Police comes on this Wednesday at 3PM.

In a nutshell it's about the conflict between the Aragami and the TAC. The Aragami are a race of plant like creatures who want to exterminate man so they can have the world for themselves. The TAC is a secret government group set up to stop them while keeping the existance of the Aragami a secret. Then there's Momiji who is the Kushinada which has certain powers to stop the Aragami but it gets complicated there. Check out the "Thoughts on the series" thread and there is a fuller and better description.

the Encore Action Channel plays anime at around 11:00 PM EST........it is available through satelite and digital cable
i forgot which days.......i know friday for sure

It's channel 306 where I'm at, but I think it depends on your cable company so it might not be the same.

Yeah... Action Channel shows a ---- load of anime. I honestly think that the Encore Network is gearing up to launch an all Anime Channel. (We can only hope...)

Just a hunch for now...
But think about it...they could easily show like a week's worth of anime with all the stuff they got in storage. Imagine if they got the license to just a handful of other series/films, they could pull it off.
But, for now, all we have is hope....:)

There is a petition on the web to send to Encore for an anime channel. Since they got a western, mystery, love stories, action, and a few other themed channels, we can hope for an anime one, but I'm not holding my breathe on that one. I thought I bookmarked the site but apparantly I didn't. I came across it by putting "Encore Action Channel" in the search and it came up. I don't know how old the site and petition was.
