Favorite eps?

I'm just curious. What is everyones favorite and least favorite episodes of NGE and why?

Hey boltarion, I have a lot of favorite episodes. One is the one where asuka and shinji were hell of bored waiting for Misato and Kaji (I think) and started frenching for no damn reason. That was a funny one. My least favoorite one was the one that only reviewed about angels and the children. ok! Thats it.

I guess. . .my favorite episodes would be: The episode in which Eva 01 goes berserk and eats the Angel's S2, and the last two episodes.
Why? Just because. Evangelion 01 is cool, and I like the way the last episodes are done (weird, isn't it?)
My least favorite episode. . .the one with the angel that acted like a computer virus. I don't know why, but I just didn't like this episode as much as the rest.

I'd have to dissagree on that... The thing about the virus was that if it got into the systems, there would be no NERV or any Eva's. The Evas would all go berzerk and the angels would have destroyed the planet with no mistakes.

Um. . .how can you disagree with my opinions? Just saying, Boltarian asked for favorite and least favorite episodes, and I stated mine.

Oh, and I don't mind hearing your opinion, just the wording ;)
I do believe that the virus based angel was powerful, I just didn't like that episode as much as the others, for some reason.

:lol: yea, that's true though, it was different than the other episodes, and it could use more action.

magma diver was one of my favs. that final part where they were in the hotsprings had great jokes. shinji gets hot while he listens in on misato and asuka's conversation and penpen just swims up and looks at him [down there], and shinji says "it heated up and expanded... how embarrassing".

my least favorite episodes would hafta be the ones i dont understand... the pure philosophy parts at the very end. the series was action, action, action, and then this philosophical stuff that had me searching everywhere for the movies so that i could understand it. but i was just as confused as ever after seeing the movies.

Hm, maybe that was it, but the last two episodes didn't have much action and I liked that as one of my favorite episodes ^_^;;

My favorite would be the one where eva 01 eats the angel and gets the human arm. That episode had like the best fight and was just plain cool.
My least favorite would probably be episode 12. I didn't really like that angel that dropped from the stratosphere.

favorite and least favorite ep eh? tough question, but lets see...

my favorite ep would be the battle with Zeruel - with eva 01 eating it in the end, followed by the battle with Bardiel. as for my least favorite, it'l have to be the episode with that rampaging robot - did you notice how bad the animation was on the running eva!?!

nope, in addition to that, i didnt find the story quite exiting as the rest - ok so its a running nuclear bomb, perhaps the only question which arises out of this episode is "what did Seele or Nerv do to sabotage the supposedly 0-problem robot", other than that, thats basically it.

[EVA UNIT 01]

Well, I liked the first episode where Shinji meets Misato and fights the 3rd Angel.
"I just had it (the car) repaired and 40 more repayments to go plus repair costs" Misato

The one I didn't like as much was the last episodes where they summed up everything. It did answer question and reveal somethings but I thought it was a let down to the series

I agree here with Yuusuke,

The 11th angel would be my least favourite ep (oddly enough, until i got all the eps, this was the first one i got, i think, so after watching it so many times, it did lose some of its appeal.)

And the last two eps are by far my fav, and have always been

i agree the virus angel ep was probably the worst. its the last of the "intro", and seems to be just thrown in place. it would have been better if put earilier in the series (pre-asuka).

hmm, my Favourite episode was where Zeruel & Eva unit 01 battle, cause Eva 01 looked cool and bloody : ) My least fav. is the ep where " jet alone " was , it looked weird and stupid and Eva 01 's running animation wasnt so good, and it was kinda boring too : ).
