View Full Version : Dornkirk...
::Spoilers Ahead::
What the heck was the whole thing about dornkick being the heart of the fate alteration machine? Was dornkick alive and acted as the heart? Or was he an illusion and that wasnt really dornkirk? When Folken kills him, he acts surprised, im just wondering if dornkirk had created some likeness of himself to carry out his will, or if it was really him. Thanks to anyone who can help me out, cuz i got totally lost on that part. Im, of course, gonna rewatch the series to try and get a better understanding, but any help would be appreciated.

I think that by "heart of the fate alteration machine" they meant that Dornkirk had build the machine and controlled it. And I think that it really was Dornkirk that Folken killed. His spirit just lasted longer than his body (as did Folken's).
dorkirk is really issac and he mad the fate alteration thing to find the power of alantis and capture the dragon and yah baciscally what elvenfire said8)
let me see...
Dornkirk (formally know as isaac), who is obsessed to find out what fate is and what it can do, created the fate alteration engine to alter fate and also alter everyone's destiny...
he, in fact, is the heart of the engine...
when Folken killed him, the fate alteration engine was activated at full power and the zone of absolute fortune appeared thus fulfilling everyone inside the zone all their wishes and desires...

Yeah he was. I knew all that, i just meant that had he passed away before and made himself into the heart of the destiny prognostication engine, or had he actually lived that long and been the heart himself. I guess he actually was the heart, so thanks guys.
yep...
do you think dornkirk was so obsessed of fate that he challenged fate itself??? like making himself one with the destiny prognostication engine and having immortality...

Yeah i think so. The thing i dont get is how he survived for so long. Did he alter his fate to live? Or was it his determination to find the answers that kept him alive?
it could be his determination to alter fate that kept him live for a long time...

Dornkirk probably was kept alive for a long time by his desire to control fate. However, eventually Dornkirk had to make some changes to his body so that he could go on living. This is shown by the fact that he is hooked up to that machine, and that when Folken kills him, he bleeds a green liquid instead of blood. My question is: How did Dornki/Isaac manage to travel across Asgard with Leon?
good question...
maybe before he hooked himself to that machine, he walked the land like any ordinary human being and travelled all over Asgard w/ Leon...
