I have also heard this rumer (here, I think :)).

From what I heard, it is based on the already running Manga Trigun Maximum..... but I've been wrong before, so don't quote me on it..... :P

I've heard this rumor a before, and I for one think it stands. Why would they not make the rest of Trigun into an anime? Trigun made a lot of money, and Nightow seems happy with the anime. I'm not saying it's sure, just that it's logical.
