What happens to the characters after the Nadesico series end? The movie took place five years after the series, so a lot of things could of happened. I read that there are two books that were published in Japan that talk about what happened in those five years.

Basically the jupitor guys kidnap all the A-class jumpers from the earth side, they experiment on some of them ie Akito and use Yurika as an interface with the Boson jump black box to precisely send people/things to a specific location. The jupitor guys also try to fight against the earth again,

Well, seems that Akito and Yurika were kidnapped by the Martian Successors during their honeymoon and everyone believed them dead. Later, they did the same with Ines.
As for the other characters, well... they are not that changed...

They never captured Ines, remember? I'd go into more detail, but that would spoil the movie for people that have not seen it. :P

That's right, sorry! Akatsuki explained that almost at the end of the movie, but I didn't catch the explanation because my fansub version has very bad translation.
Could you explain it to me? They faked her death, right?

That is correct. They figured out that all of the jumpers were being taken, so they faked her death and kept her in hiding.

it's most likely they will continue
the series, only if there's a
demand for it.
