Lupin III?

How many Lupin III movies are there? Are they any good? Anyone know?

Um, there are a lot of Lupin movies. Really, a lot. I don't know how many there are, but I can tell you that they vary widely in tone and characterization. I've seen three, but I only remember the name of one: Castle of Caligostro (widely believed to be the overall best). I also saw a movie involving Goemon's sword (pretty good), and a movie about a REALLY tall building and a terrorist kidnapping plot (also good, but Fujiko is bustier than I like).

well, to my knowledge there are a lot...

according to a Lupin III FAQ i got the other day:

"If you count the annual TV specials, there's been 17. There
have also been 2 OAVs, one of which went to theaters anyway ("Plot of the Fuma Clan"),
so I counted it.
If you count just the theatrical releases, it's 7 (with "Plot of the Fuma Clan")"

That was tokyo crisis. It's one of my faves. I thought it was really funny when Goemon unlocked the door..

Just hit it 7 time and it wound open. i love how he cuts the plane in half. Thats so cute when its flying around with out a tailplane
