Somethings funny about Fred Lou

Is it just me or is Fred Lou blantantly gay. I mean come on. Just look at when we first see him and gene and jim. remember how enthusiatic he was to touch Jim and Gene but when he saw Melfina he was just like oh hello or something like that. and the fact he'd rather die than marry that wrestler chick. yup, hes got to be gay.

When Outlaw Star came to CN, they cut out all direct verbal indications that he was gay. They couldn't cut out all the hugging and the gay voice though, so you can still tell.

Remember when Jim says "I don't know how to act around that guy." Basically CN cut out direct references to it, but he is gay.

Let me inlighten you a bit. In the episode with Sasuka, Fred hugged Gene...not only that but he began to continually squeeze Gene against himself(euh), and did you catch on to that ear-rubbing thing. That, my friend, is a nervous habit, and he does it a whole lot when he sees Gene or Jim.

Tomoyo from Card Captor Sakura?

I've never seen the entire series, but I've read some manga and I've seen the line "I love you Sakura", BUT I never took it as I want you in the sack sort of way. Like Li technically 'loved' Sakura's brother's friend, but it turned out he was attracted to a power he felt in him. I always understood the love between Tomoyo and Sakura as a love in a very close friendship/sisterly love. It's not gay unless you want the other person in a physical way which I never saw.

** If this changes later in the series, please let me know. I haven't read the entire manga, not even most of it. As for the TV series, closest I've seen is that slash and hack job done by helvina. You think other series content is cut out? It's nothing compared to when you cut out entire episodes let alone scenes just to turn the series into a completely different show. The series wasn't even on the air yet and they cut out the first SEVEN EPISODES just so they could portray Li as the main character. Mein Gott in Himmel, Helvina anta Baka **

Considering Tomoyo is a ten year old girl, she's just playing dressup in a way. Perhaps she is gay, but I don't think from what I've seen in the manga/series that you can draw that conclusion without some doubt. ** Course that may change later in the series, I haven't seen it all yet :) **

Tomoyo does show "affection" for Sakura, confusing Sakura a lot. But, she says things like, "The person I like is very nice, and I don't care if that person doesn't like me back, but, if that person is happy, then I am also happy." I also think that Fred's relationship with Gene is kinda strange. I also thought that Fred wanted Jim to grow up soon, but I am not sure.

I know this has nothing to do with Outlaw Star or Fred but if you watch an anime show closely almost every anime show has a gay person. Trust me. It's pretty much 98% out of 100. By the way, the international channel is sorta like an anime channel. Course you need a satilite dish but it's really worth it.
