The English Translation of Sailor Moon R the Movie will be on Cartoon Networks movies this friday, starting at 5:00 P.M. I believe. The TV guides over where I live say Tree of Might will be playing, but today I just saw an official commercial for Sailor Moon R the Movie.

Sigh... I'll watch because they supposedly did a better than usual job with the dub, but it just won't be the same without yaoi-overtones and "Moon Revenge." How could thay cut that song? It's the best in the entire series! Sob... :bawling:

I know not every anime has to have a lot of fighting. (my favorite in Tenchi, barely any real action) but there is none at all in Sailor Moon. al they do is throw bubbles or electricity in the same same sequences over and over again. I remember seeing the first episode or 2nd when Serena actually punched a guy and drop kicked another, what happened to her? I thought she was gonna be the brave one

Sailor Moon isn't an action oriented show. There are conflicts and fights, but not much action. Somtimes it appeals to people, sometimes not. Doesn't help that the dub was butchered beyond all regognition. Trying watching the ORIGINAL conclusion to the first season, sometime. It's not stunningly choreographed, but it is action by my definition. Hell, watch the movie instead. R has the most real action out of any of them.
PS: There are a LOT of anime with stock footage. You think SM is unique?

I agree that Sailormoon has hardly any fighting and is pretty repetitive but once you get to the last
6-7 or 7-8 episodes of the seasons it's got some of the best action and drama of any anime.
