Beserk

I saw on a website somewhere that Beserk is soon to be licensed here in the States. Can any one confirm or deny this rumor? Or was the webmaster of that site just blowing smoke up our...err...

I've heard various rumours about Berserk being licenced over the past year or so but so far nothing has come out of any of them... I hope this rumour is true but I doubt it is...

Of course, they released a Dreamcast game of Berserk so it is more recognized now in the US... Maybe they'll gain some support to have it released here...

What's Berserk about?:confused: I've heard of it but never seen it.

Maccy99 Berserk is the best Anima that I have I only have 1-25 of the series it seems to me that the video's that I have are the first year's worth and it's the type of anima that just makes you want to watch all 25 videos in one day (I did it in two day's had to work ya know.) but to anyone I would recommend this series I just have to tell you one thing about it after the first 25 shoes your going to be ticked off that you can't find any more. If anyone out there knows where to get any more of the Berserk please e-mail me or respond to this post.

Go to www.op-otaku.com they have a place there where you can get fan sub's of Berzerk all of them are A to A+ and the guy has a lot of other anima and there is a good message bord on that sigh they just started it so there are not a lot of messages on it yet. So if anyone is looking for Berzerk fan sub's there is a link in the above web sight to go in to.

Beserk only has 25 eps i'm sure of it

I think there is only 25 that we know about now in north America but if you watch all 25 you know what I mean either there going to make more or there are more I got one of the Berzerk art book and it seams to me in that the story goes on I can't read Japanese. The first 25 only just explained how he lost his arm and eye and why he was branded. If you are right and there is only 25 episodes of this that will be most disporting because it leaves you with so many questions.

The Japanese are not willing to give an American company DVD rights (not yet anyway) so that's why there is nobody willing to pick up Berserk.

If you want, you can read the manga... it carries on after Gatts' flashback. The thing is, the show never introduces the Skull Knight, an important character in the series. Nor does it introduce that fairy (whose name escapes me) but he can be introduced at anytime, really.

There were rumors about starting a second season but I haven't heard anything concrete yet.

But if they go on, I can't wait. The story gets much better... but then you have to put up with the Lost Children Arc... which was sort of boring... ^_^;;

I just finished the first 4 eps of a fansub. I'm now very interested. Good animation, the characters are growing on me, and the plot seems pretty good.

There is no English version of Berserk (save the fanscans you may find) but there is of course the Japanese version and I believe an Italian one. There might be a few others in various other languages but I haven't actually looked for them.

there is 26 episodes.... the first 25 are sold in groups of 6-7 and the 26th the last one is on its own :)

- Well, we are still working to come to some sort of agreement with the licensors, so there isn't much else we can do but wait and see for now. We are following up with them daily, so hopefully something will develop soon.
