Who´s your favourite characther in Love Hina

i was just wondering who your favourite Characther in Love Hina is.
Mine are:
Kaolla, Narusegawa, Mutsumi and i also just love Liddo-kun and friends.

i've seen all available episodes thus far, and i've been reading the manga scan translations. After all that, I think Naru would be my "fav" character. No, it's not because she's really cute and I fantasize about her. :D

I guess since I'm a realy sucker for these love stories, I always want the two main characters to get together. Couples like Ranma/Akane, Belldandy/Keichi, Naru/Keitaro, Madoko/Kyousuke, (Kasumi/Kazuya?) etc etc. And in the manga, she's a lot more obvious in her feelings for Keitaro. I was like, hey! Interesting.

So that's why. But don't get me wrong, Otohime and Tamo rocks as well. :)

Damn straight!! Naru is THE perfect girl, a synthesis of all the best traits of the other girls (Shinobu's Cuteness, Mitsune's wit, Motoko's Combat Power ^-^ and Kaolla's Exhuberence).

In Love Hina, a series modelled on Romantic Simulation Games such as the masterpiece "Tokimeki Memorial", Naru is the "Fujisaki Shiori" character of the series; the "ultimate prize" so to speak for the hero (Keitaro) if he is doggedly persistent enough.

However, more often than not in such games, you end up with another character who has a single defining positive trait rather than total perfection, for the "Shiori" girl always has exasperatingly high standards. The supporting cast are hence often more popular considering the fact they are closer to obtainable girlfriends than an ideal fantasized goddess.

For this reason, (although I ADORE Naru) my favourite girl is still sweet lil' Maehara Shinobu, because she is cute, kind and capable of acknowleging your flaws without sending you flying into the stratosphere.

Kaolla Su is a CLOSE second, because she is fun, exhuberent person who is kind, sincere and honest with her feelings without malicious intent to her fellow humans.

Naru truely is the ultimate prize.... shes definitely up there as one of my favorites... along with Shinobu :D

My favorite though is Mutsumi Otohime She's so kawaii :kawaii: and aside from Shinobu she's the only female nice with Keitaro.And who can't resist a girl prone to fainting? ;)

I'd hafta go with Shinobu or Mutsumi. Shinobu I can sympathise with cause I know how she feels... I've fealt the same in a couple of my 'relationships' (althought I was the same age) and Mutsumi simply cause I like a direct type of woman... you know make's life as being the guy a whole lot easier. and plus if she's gunna faint... and fall outta the shower... I'd need to be there for her to catch her... heh

Hmm... this is wonderful considering I've now been compared to Naru twice on one day hehe.... although I'mfar far from the perfect prize... oh well :heh:

We know who are our Personal favorites are. However, heres a good question. Who would win what?

Fighting we all know Motoko would win, cooking we know it would be Shinobu, scholastics we know it would Naru, etc.... etc.... the type of contest would be one that tested the person all around (physical, mental, personality, etc... etc....)

So who would win? Shoot... lets toss in board games while were at it (mouse trap, scrabble, jenga, strip poker :heh: ). Or if anyone knows of any sort of contest that test a persons physical and mental skills please do tell. So what do you think?

See i thougth about that... but she keeps falling asleep. So i counted that in as a factor. See if She and Naru went head to head there is not guarentee that Mutsumi would be able to stay awake. Thats why i said Naru. :p

BTW Do we have an exact age for her? I remember 2 ref points of them saying she was in JR high, then in the spring special shes in 2nd grade (hoping the japanese grade system is different than what I know).

ahem. i liked shinobu from the second episode (when she gets more screen time) on. no one passed her in my opinion. motoko denies her feelings too much, kitsune rocks but isn't on screen enough, naru's lack of acceptance is agitating, suu never stops running around, i wanted to *itch slap sara around the world, haruka's great but yet again not enough screen time, seta cracked his head open too much to be respectable plus he wanted naru when he's obviously sooo much older.

shinobu rocks. end of story. she's extremely mature for her age, let's her love be truly happy even if she's not involved, goes out of her way to make him happy, very kawaii like coign said, she thinks things out, wants things to be special and not cast them away as something that everybody does because they can (i didn't explain that to well did i?) well that's all i have to say. oh yeah, KAWAII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

My vote goes to Mutsumi! She's perfect! :D Seriously, I think she's a very profound character. You can understand what Keitarou and Naru are feeling just by looking at them and hearing them (or reading them...whatever), but with Mutsumi, you have to guess. What she shows is not necessarily what she's thinking. In my opinion, she's the most complex character of the series and that is why I like her best.

Kitsune is my favorite. She's so layed back and care free. Thats the kind of girl I like. She needs a lot more development.

Naru and Keitaro's relationship is too frustrating for me to like either of them too much.

Motoko is cool, but she's just not my favorite for some reason.

Shinobu is cool too.

I dont like Suu all that much cuz I wouldnt like being beaten up by a girl.

Haruka is cool in the manga, but she's not much of a character in the anime to be a favorite.

I hate Seta's guts. I want Keitaro and Naru tgether. I know they will be eventually, but I still hate him because he's always a problem for them.

Definitly shinobu!!

She has to be the most cutest person I've ever seen in a series. Episode 2 that introduced her is one of my favourite eps, I also like how she always cares about other poeple and how she's often embarassed. And offcourse she is one of the few characters that is actually nice to keitaro.

I also like: Mutsumi and Keitaro :)
