Anybody have any idea when they are going to show that Stars season on Cartoon Network? or if they even are at all? I had the honor to see a little bit of it when I went to Europe on vacation, and there may be a few reasons Cartoon Network may not show it at all...
A: Usagi falls in love with someone other than Mamoru, one of the Starlights, no less, and she doesn't care that he's naturally a girl.
B: Several referances are made to Usagi taking a shower with the above mentioned guy...this never happens, however, but when he steps out of the shower, ChibiChibi almost pulls his towel down =P
C: It's generally a hilarious season, on several occasions, Usagi makes fun of herself in the stupid costume she's wearing, and is very confused about how to move around with wings on her back...
Maybe that's just me, but I hope they show the Staars season in America because it's my favorite.

I think the biggest reason would be the gender switching with the Starlights. That might be a little hard to explain or cover up.

yeah, i agree... it would be hard to explain to those innocent kids watching which sex the starlights are.

but i do hope they would show sailorstars coz i think its the best season. :)

I think that Cartoon Network will show the beginning of it, and not end it. Otherwise, I dont think that Cartoon Network is even going to dub it.

I used to think that CN would avoid the Stars season becuase of the gender switching thing. Now that i've heard more, I'm not so sure. See there is no actual gender switching; the Starlights are just girls pretending to be boys. It didn't bother them with Uranus... Course they'll horribly dub it and remove all actual drma from the show, but still I'll watch. It'll tide me overr until they FINALLY release the Stars season on DVD.

Well, Chibi-chibi does actually pull Seiya's towel down, and it's quite funny to see the expressions on the faces of the inner senshi...
My guess is that they'll show the first arc, and leave it at that. The first arc is actually quite nice but people tend to ignore it...
Stars is actually a very serious season. It doesn't really seem it, but around the end, it's even more serious than the S season...

I actually hope they don't air it.I've downloaded the whole season and I love it,but I don't think I could stand watching the dubbed, edited version. It's so funny the way it is and if they get the stars season liscensed then it won't be easy to find on the net.

Yeah that might be true since the Starlight are confirmed to be guys when their bare chests are shown in some episode. But they did manage to cover up that Zoycite is actually a guy (sorry kids! we can't show gay lovers on TV!) and I know there's been some other coverups on what sex the characters are to clean out the homosexuality. They did coverup Michirus and Harukas relationship too... Cousins? Oh god... Did the cover up the fact that Reis grandpa is a dirty old man in the US anime too?

They kinda toned Grampa down a bit... He was still ecchi, but not as much...

Wait a minute. I thought in the manga, the Starlights are girl who dress up as guys, whereas in the anime they are guys who turn into girls only when they transform into sailor senshi?

Nah, they're chicks.

And what I've heard is that CN won;t air it, but it's in tlaks to be released stright to VHS and DVD both dubbed and subbed. Which would probably be better since it wouldn;t get hacked up as much.

Um...but if they were chicks (and I know they are in the manga, but I'm referring to the anime here), how would Seiya be able to walk out of the shower at Usagi's without his shirt on? I know their "true form" is supposed to be female, but they chose a male form to look for their princess in or something like that...ugh, why couldn't they just stick with the manga storyline? Women who dress up as men is much, much easier to grasp.

They're girls who took on boy's forms (bodies and all) and then change back into girls when they transform. But I guss that Seiya is a lesbian, bease she hits on Udagi so much.

Usagi^.^

yeah, Seiya is a lesbian, she is in love with Usagi in the animé. but there's nothing like that in the manga....

Right! That's what I thought. Ok, ok, I'm not misinformed, we just misunderstood each other...

Yeah, I guess technically Seiya would be lesbian then, if you look at it that way.

I never actually clicked on the Sailor Starlights being girls until they came out and said so. I suppose I should have realised that Sailor Scouts are always female but it just never clicked.

I'm not sure if they have the bodies of men while not transformed. I just thought they aren't overly "talented" (hee, hee) and wore clothes that would hide their figure.

Either way their leader had a major crush on Usagi who was mostly unaware except for the occasion panic attack that "he" was trying to get into her panties.

Hmm, Seiya being a lesbian--that's interesting, because in one episode of Sailor Stars, she/he hits on Michiru, and Haruka walks in. Sailor Moon explains that Michiru is Haruka's 'special person' and Seiya seems to consider that strange. Hmm....

i own the whole series on tapes. no it is michiru who seduces Seiya. they were in her dressing room after a joint concert and she lifted her hair and asked if he minded to help her. she had a very sexy voice and look on her face. seiya shruggs and walks over as haruka comes in *big vibes between her and seiya* then seiya leaves. haruka takes over with 'helping' michiru ^_^

oh yeah, and usagi (as pointed outt in thefinal eps) never really catches on to the fact that seiya loves her. everyone makes fun of her.

seiya- i'll always remember you

usagi-yes, (cheery smile) we'll always be friends!

everyone laughs and the other girls tease her
