As of right now I have all 6 Trigun DVD's and the 7 on preorder (I bet a lot of you do also.) If you like Trigun you will also like Berserk it's like almost the same thing as Trigun but a lot more killing and is back in the middle ages. I first watched Berserk then Trigun and I like them both and if you'd like to get in to some anime that's not out in the U.S.A yet and can only get subtitled but has a good plot and story get the Berserk videos trust me I will not steer you wrong with this and if you have ever played the Dreamcast game let me just tell you the anime is 10 times better then the game. If you'd like to know where you can get the Berserk videos just reply to this bord.

i have been watchin both for a while and i like trigun and am very bored with beserk because it is very repetitve cause all it is gattsu killing a bunch of people with his giant sword.

And what is Trigun it's a show that all the guy in it does is try not killing anyone with a big gun. I'm guessing you have not seen all 25 episodes of berserk or you would know it's more in-depth the Trigun is because it's the only show I know that takes 24 episodes so that you know what is in half of the first one you watch.

yes but trigun actually has some comedic value tho and it is not the same battle over and over again.

I've only seen the first 4 eps (fansubs) of Berserk. Approximately when does it get closer to Trigun?

I never said they where both a like all I said that if you like Trigun you'll like Berserk and if all you have seen is the fist 4 in the series you have seen nothing the story is an in-depth story like Trigun but it is more serious then Trigun you have to see at lest 12 of the Berserk to see what I'm talking about and to fully see what I'm talking about you have to see all 25. I'm not trying to compare these two series and say there the same at all I never said that I said that there almost the same thing they both have a plot that is a lot alike about a friend that betrayed them both the only thing I can say is that Trigun is more of a comedy and Berserk is more of a serious and if you have not seen more then the first 4 you know nothing about the series our what it is about. I'll just say this about them if you like a good action movie they are both good

While I am a fan of both, I believe that Berserk's plot is more deep, as far as the manga goes. It deals with fate and whether "man can write his own destiny," some other religious junk and some other stuff. ^_^ <-- being vague

And Berserk does have its fair share of humor if you read the manga, that fairy is pretty funny... trying to chase away the spirits after Gatts. ^_^;;

I have watched all 25 berserk eps in one night and just don't get what happens to the kid remaining in camp eps 23(He was chasing a feary) All I can do is speculate, that he is dead like his comrades. If so why doesn't the other care eps 24 everybody sitting around worrying about griffith and who to follow. The whole serie was a flashback from gatts so why does the damn perspectif keep changing from one person to another?

Well, in the manga, Skull Knight rescues the boy... since we didn't see his death, he could have been rescued.

And the way the story is told, I don't think it's Gatts who specifically recalls all these events, it's just the story going back into the past to tell the story.
