Well, as I said b4 I saw the 1st video, I was wondering if it gets any better. I mean, the one I saw was only mediocre IMO. Should I spend the [large amt. of] $ and get the rest of them? Thanx.

definitely

this is my favourite Anime Series to date... however, it's definitely not for everyone... this series doesn't have much action/adventure... it's not exactly your average anime either... it asks for alot of thinking in your part {as the viewer} and even moreso, it has many things that you could look into. it definitely takes a second viewing though. i know there's a review somewhere in this Forum. also, a few more threads asking about the series with no spoilers

here's one of the threads (http://animeboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12707)

You should definitly se the rest. When I saw the first volume I was slightly turned off but I knew it was going to get better(pretty much all series do) and I bought thte second volume. After that I was hooked and I bought the whole series.

Like Havok said,This series isn't really Action/Adventure. I think it's more like realistic Sci-Fi. Though this series isn't really action oriented, you will be suprised to see how interesting and thrilling it is.

see you space cowboys...

Try renting them first... I really can't say you should spend a lot of money on a series unless you really enjoy it.

Get them, even if it requires selling your soul or first born

TOTALLY see the whole thing, it just gets trippier and trippier, and the ending blows your mind, while at the same time making perfect sense, and no sense, and it leaves you feeling like your brain has been run through the "frappe" settting on a blender.

(Can you tell i loved this series?)

I was about to post the exact same thread/question as this one but i saw it.

I have also only seen the first video and wasn't really sure if I wanted to spend $25 per video, especially if it wasn't going to be worth it in the end.

Seeing the responses though I guess I'm going to have to start saving up my pennies for the rest of them. It sounds like the kind of anime i like with a good but weird end and a twisted sci-fi-ish plot.

Weird...yes.
Twisted...yes.
If you are in any way interested in what happens after the end of the first tape, I think you'll like the rest. It does get sorta confusing and this is an anime that needs repeated viewings to enjoy it fully...but isn't that better than an anime that gets old after one time? :B:

Weird, twisted, mind nubbing etc etc. Sure but i still love it;)
