don't you mean "explain now?" :D although I COULD expand it somehow ... ;)

from what I know, there's a 40+ tv series that have the goddesses but they are super deformed (ie. chibi). The three goddesses, and a (new character?) rat named gan-chan have all sorts of fantastic adventures. I think each episode is no longer than 8 mins ... IIRC.

Some episodes are REALLY wacked out but funny. The ending theme is quite nice as well. Umm .. what else ... can't think of anything else ...

oh yah! speaking of manga, dark horse actually has a small little graphic novel of the SD goddess. You can go buy it right now. :)

Oh; you're referring to "The Adventures of the Mini-Goddesses. I'll be getting them soon. I already own a manga book; but not a Dark Horse one, one from Kodansha :)

Oh well... there goes my hope for more :(

TV SD GODDESS - (48?) : not been licensed in North America as of yet ...

MOVIE - 1 (a friend of mine is adamant about there being TWO movies but as of right now, I can't find ANYTHING about that) : Too many rumours and unconfirmed reports of this being licensed. I'm way too confused now. :(

English Graphic Novels: 8 from Dark Horse Comics so far. #9 is due out in june sometime, and #10 maybe in october sometime.

Japanese Manga: not really sure how many volumes there are ... but somebody else should know this.

I also read somewhere on this board that there are TWO kinds of the manga? One based on the original concept of A!MS and the other one based on the oavs? I'd like to learn more about this. :)

All I know is I'm collecting the original AMS Manga. I think there are shy over 20 books... I only have 2 :bawling:

As for the one based on OMG, I always thought that they were the ones Dark Horse were publishing...

See I thought there were 5 graphic novel style books to co-incide with the OAVs... they are like full color and mostly cell stills from the OAVs themselves... well I saw them at an anime con anyway. As for the stuff that Darkhorse of producing I'm pretty sure it's A!MS which is the one that comes out in Kodansha's Weekly Afternoon... I have about 6 of the actual trade papers from Japan and one of the issues (10th anniversary) and they co-incide with the Dark Horse publications... :D

Hell I'll buy any A!MS stuff they throw at me... I mean you're talking to a girl with a mini-goddess wallet :heh: I have alot of ones that don't co-incide as well but they are later volumes like 19 and stuff... we're only up to like 10 or 11 in the states.

I'm also a guy, and I am a big fan of A!MG. I just leeched the movie, despite the fact that it is absolutly crap quality just so I can see it now rather than later when the fansub distros get it :)

the OAV is on 2 DVDs and they'll be released on the 14 and 28th of august.

for the movie, I'm just gonna try to get someone IN japan, or GOING to japan to get the dvd of it for me...and just pray it has english subtitiles!...which you'd think it would considering that most dvds are coming out with that kinda stuff...poo...if only I'd remember'd that for Kagome....well, it's worth a try...

and Cloakactive, ya sure 23 will actually come out THIS year!!!!??? *in hysterics* eeehehehe...can't wait...must..earn..money......be..ready...!!!!!:D
