Are the DVDs of this show edited as it was on TV?

If so/or not would it be worth getting?

i think...

some DVD's don't have cuts so it's worth it to buy those DVD's...

Yes, the subtitled track on the DVDs is uncut. However, you would do better to just buy the video box set from AnimeVillage or Amazon. The entire series won't be out on DVD for at least a year.
