It makes ya wonder why all the good anime series have such a low amount of episodes.

How much are the DVDs though? Are they out now?

The reason all the good animes have only a few episodes is because the creators took all their good ideas and used them at once. Wtih long series (eg. Sailormoon, Dragonball), the creators must spread their good ideas out over more episodes.

All three DVD volumes are out, each one around $25-$35 online and $35-$45 retail.

The DVDs are a good deal and Cartoon Network butchered the series. Full scenes are cut in some episodes! If you like it, believe me, it's worth it because the un-cut version will even give you a different perspective on the series as a whole.
