who die?

i haven't seen the oav yet, neither the series, but just for my concern, does any of the character die in both the series and oav, who? b/c i would be really sad if my favorite character die, and i'm very ready for spoiler ppl !!!

Ok, all the Suzaku seishi die, except for Tasuki and Chichiri. I'm not so sure about Seriyuu, I'll have to look that up or something...
But, never fear for they all get reincarnated! Tamahome become Taka, a guy in Keisuke and Tetsuyas class, and that's in the oav's. In the mini-albums, Nuriko is a secret agent named Jo, Chiriko is a child genius who's name I can't remember, Hotohori is a rock star named Andy Won, and Mitsukake is a Brazilian soccer player named Pedro, which I just think is the funniest thing in the world.

all seiryuu seishi died except suboshi...

in the ova, suboshi died because of Tenko (evil diety and the fifth god in the book)...

i think that was suboshi and not amiboshi...
amiboshi died because of the illusion seishi (forgot his name) and suboshi took place of amiboshi so that the foster family of amiboshi will not get lonely...

in the ova, tamahome didn't die 'coz he was only teleported back to Miaka's world and returned to the book because of Tenko (1st ova)

in the 2nd ova, tamahome has a 2nd identity. in Miaka's world, he's name is taka. tamahome's memory was stored inside a memory stone...

Nuriko is killed by Ashitare. Chiriko is killed by Miboshi(but he kinda kills himself). Mitsukake kills himself
by using all his life force to save a little girl, ironcially named Shoka which was his former lover and thats her reincarnated) and he ends up curing all the people in the village, Hotohori is killed by Nakago, Soi is killed by Tasuki, Ashitare is killed by Nakago, Miboshi is killed by Chiriko, Tomo is killed by Suboshi and Nakago by tamahome.
Quick thing....Suzaku seishi-nuriko, hotohori, chiriko, chichiri, tasuki, tamahome, mitsukake
Seriyuu seishi-tomo, suboshi, amiboshi, soi, ashitare, miboshi, nakago

Now Tamahome is killed by Nakago but he comes back somehow(thats a little weird). But before that, tamahome kills suboshi(who had killed tamahome's family) and when he dies, it shows the figures of tamahome's brothers and sisters holding down suboshi so he dies.
Amiboshi is the only seriyuu still alive after the tv series. And the only two of suzaku are Tasuki and Chichiri(since tamahome technically died...but he came back).
Amiboshi is living in the little village under the name of kai kai. he had battled tomo to save miaka and suboshi had come along before his brother got killed and killed tomo. He then returned his brother to the village and gave him the forgetful drug.(that was in the tv series) so amiboshi doesn't remember anything in the ova. until suboshi comes to him, as a ghost and takes over amiboshi(amiboshi let him) there they go and save yui and amiboshi dies....that is really sad. The saddest deaths are chiriko's, amiboshi's and tamahome's family....
the ever so heart renching...."I AM A SUZAKU SEISHI!!!" and then "Tell everyone......tell everyone...ARIGATO!"
*sobs* gomen....it was really sad when Chiriko died.

I'll keep this short.
In the last two gaiden novels that Watese-sama wrote, she wrote about how everyone was reincarnated except for those still alive(chichiri and tasuki). Hotohori lived in a poor village as a poor boy in the poorest house. There was a girl in the next town who was in love with him(daa who else? thats nuriko no da!) mitsukake was a young boy who always hung around shoka(sweet!) chiriko was a little baby. they had to get them all together to save miaka who was still in her world...(long story.....)
but it's cute...they had to steal baby chiriko! they brought him back safe and sound though...dont worry ^_^

Taka ain't TAMA!! Tamahome DIED when Naka-Ho killed him (duh...um..)

Well, I think that if the REST of the Suzaku used Nyan-Nyan bodies to be in the physical why not him, too?

The first & Second OVAs were not written by Watase-sama, so we can't count them as CONCRETE. They're flawed...so for OVAs, try to pick up the original manga versions that Watase-sama did.

Amiboshi was Kaika in that little village. Suboshi, however, possessed him so he could run off and save Yui from danger, ect. ect. Nakago came back from the dead to kill Tomo AGAIN...who dies 3 times, no da...

At the end of the manga version of the OVA, you see Kouji and Tasuki older, bein' themselves. You see a cute little boy holding a mirror catch a glimpse of a cute little girl carrying very heavy ells of fabric. You see an infant reading a book while surrounded by scrolls. You see a young toddler boy and a young toddler girl that you were previously shown was Shouka (therefor this should be Mitsukake...). Chichiri is in a village watching random children run about. Tamahome isn't mentioned because the memory stones that contained (in essense) "Tamahome" were absorbed by Taka. Therefor he's... one and BOTH...but if you're anal like me you swear that durn kid of Miaka and Taka's is what happened when "Tamahome" left Taka and was "reincarnated" (That's opinion, mind ye.)...

The Gaiden can't be considered CONCRETE because Watase-sama didn't write them. She illustrated them, but had (as far as I know ) nothing to do with their actual writing except for simple inspiration and editing.

(I mean, Megumi decided that Tamahome and Tasuki had previously met *such as before THAT episode...evil Tamahome*....Also, that the former *deceased* leader of the Reikaku bandits was supposedly one of Hotohori's brothers.)

Watase-sama did write the last two gaiden novels.
She wanted readers to read it and intended the main character who takes Miaka's place to be the readers. As in saying, that could be you. Thats the actual end to the whole FY thing.
As for the other gaiden novels, she only illustrated some. She had nothing to do with Tasuki's, illustrated all of Chichiri's and the others i'm not quite sure. But she will have a little to say about them when they are made into a series*cheers! think a whole episode about Chichiri!! WAAIII WWAIII!* those are expected due in december.
I know she didn't make the first ova, so the difference between the manga and the series is increadible. Me personally, I like the manga better, but since most people watch the series instead, thats what I go by. And since Watase-sama did make the last two gaiden novels, I go by that.
