2). In epi.5 how did Gendo get down to Rei so fast
He was up in the Control room and the next thing you know he's burning his Hand trying to get Rei out
The Nerv technishions should have been down there before Gendo was. They should have been on stand by in case something happened

Misato : "So what did happen"
Ritsuko : "I don't know, she could have"
Misato : "Did something Occor to you"
Ritsuko : "No, it can't be that"

1) absolute borderline - The synchn level required to maintain status quo with the eva. Anything below the borderline makes the eva unpredictable and out of control. Borderline is a 0 synch rate. notice how everyone always goes...-.6....-.3....-.1...-.1.....border line cleared!

2)iz one of those unexplicable anime things...goes under the same catagory as why buildings can hang from ceilings and why thier eyes take up half their face ;)

3)She may ahve been refering to something rejecting her or trying to contaminate her mind in the Eva...but she rethought and dismissed it as impossible. May also be refering to the debatable Naoka's soul in eva 00...perhaps she speculated her mother was trapped inside of EVA 00 and it was so unreal she rejected that idea.
