I've really been looking forward to seeing a subbed version of this movie and I'm finally going to get a chance to in a few months... Although most of the dialogue is already in english so I really didn't miss much watching the Japanese version... Still, I can't wait to buy the DVD...
First some background information on Blood: The Last Vampire... The best way to describe it is Buffy the Vampire Slayer turned into an anime... The animation is just amazing and is completely digital along the same lines as Lain...

As for the release dates... Manga Entertainment is releasing the DVD in North America at the end of July but you can get the DVD from Japan in a month with subtitles... Although, like I said before, over half the dialogue is already in english anyway...
