All is true, Chiriko is a boy. The artists does a damn good job making him look like a girl, just like Nuriko.

It should also be noted that Chiriko is only 13 years old...so it's okay for him to look a little bit more girly than some of the other seishi. He hasn't hit puberty yet.

I have to admit that I was dumb at first and thought that Chiriko was a girl. To say that least I was shocked t find out that he was a boy. I think it is safe to say that most of us were fooled by Chiriko's appearance.
