In his song "PS: Aitte eien desuka?" (PS: Is love forever?" , it's like a love song, he says things like "you taught me things that aren't on the books, you let me laugh"...
I think he's talking about Miaka.
It's a very cute song, by the way.

I think Chiriko always considered himself too young to like girls. I mean, Kruez, he was 13 and looked like he was 7. If he liked Miaka, it was as a sister...like Tasuki THOUGHT he liked Miaka until...

I think Chiriko really liked the idea that he finally had friends. I think it was in the manga's where he said the kids used to make fun of him so he didn't have friends and studied even harder. The he found a group of friends, the Suzaku Seishi and was proud to be their friend. He liked Miaka as a friend/sister and was really into his duties as a Seishi. I really can't say if he liked her even more but considering how he was so into studying and whatno i doubt that.....but hey ya never know!
