Aren't they still in production of the OAV? O_o? I can't wait ^^

It is just so damned adorable how they replicated Keitaro's "hot spring bashing" in the title song into the context of a Shinto shrine festival in the ending song of the Christmas Special.

I'm completely messed up about this oav business. Some people tell me that there will be TWO oavs, and they DO NOT include the two specials. Then someone else tells me the spring special was one of the oavs that CONCLUDED the series, and the remaining oav is an "extra."

But whether it's one or two oavs, it safe to say (i think) that there will be at LEAST one more episode coming out for this series.....

 now i'm confused as well... I really would like a long series... but then again I'm happy with what i can get... although I still need to get it on VHS in opposition of the crappy DIVX copies....

One, question, Ms Langley,

What is DIVX?

DivX is the .avi codec format favoured by the digisubbers these days.

There was originally intended to be 2 OVAS (essentially eps 25 and 26 of the series). However, for whatever reason, they scrapped one of the OVAs and made it the Spring Special instead. The final DVD of the series therefore only contains one episode instead of 2, this is why there was a price drop.

Incidentally, Bandai have licensed ALL of Love Hina, including the specials and the OVA.

Ah, so no wonder the animation of the fansubs I burrowed was so jerky, stiff and unnatural.

DivX should have relatively good quality, and if you wanted to you could change it to MPEG-1 and put it on a VCD and then transfer it to VHS with pretty good quality with some filters

The trouble is, the fansubs were ALREADY in VHS format.

Must have been a REAL lazy direct from computer to video transfer, after some thought on the matter.
