Yay!! I can't wait! I was totally freaking out when I saw the commercial last night! And they're also starting it on the Midnight Run tonight. So I wonder if it will be un-edited ^_^

it looks like an ok series. but i'm not likin' the animation. it kinda looks like the american batman series.

it looks nothing like an anime or manga besides the story line, but i'll still watch it to give it a shot

Is this an ongoing series or just another really short 3 week thing? Unlike most anime fans I like long series(50ep or more) better than 6 ep or 26 episode shows. Is it still showing in Japan. And as far as the animation goes. Anime is the term for animation from Japan, the animation is from Japan so it's anime and as far as I'm concerned it's good to have something different for a change. Not that I don't like the norm but anime is an art, it shouldn't get stuck in a routine.

That's because some people on the Batman team helped work on it.

Ok then it's totally not worth watching. I rather watch an anime that came straight from Japan. So I"m being picky :p

Rudy, that's being a little too picky...c'mon, you won't watch any anime that has help from the US? It came from Japan...it has to be translated, right? I personally love the Batman animation and have been hoping they'd do something more serious...but I know nothing about Big-O so I can't tell if it's what I'm looking for.

I just saw the first episode and it's pretty cool! I'm gonna record it when it's replayed during the midnight run.

Yep it was a nice show, pretty nice and different animation from the usual :)

Yes, I liked it. The animation is really good, detailed, colorful. The English voice actors aren't half bad either. What's up with those massive mechs?!?!?

it was pretty good. I'm kind of glad hes not invincible and flawless like batman. He actually makes a huge mistake in the first episode but like the commercial says, he does with serious style. Is it just me, or was that bad guy in the yellow suit the voice of Gene Starwind.

now that I think about it, it was kind of power rangery though. the one liners made it sound like it should be on Fox or something. but thats about my only complaint.

I didnt mind anything, its nicer than the batman animation, especially since its more crisp and anime-like... I wouldnt mind watching the uncut version, if there is one... :look:

Don't be such a snob, Rudy. Japan loves Batman. Hell, they love Tom & Jerry cartoons, too. The flow of popular culture goes both ways. Anyway, regardless of the actual staff, the look was only inspired by the look of Gotham city, and I can think of worse locales to be inspired by. As for the style, well, you need to have different styles occasionally. That's how evolution works.

ok, this show is a TOTAL cross between batman and the power puff girls. it's like batman in terms of animation and they the charaicters are, and its like the power puff girls because half the city gets leveled and no one really cares.

AWESOME! i think i just might have to continue to watch this! :B:

The Negotiator has a pretty sweet car, too...

I'm watching Midnight Run, and I like the style more and more. Very slick...think Batman's class x2 with more detail and smoother action. The music is quite nice as well.

I just watched the show on the Midnight Run! I kinda like the animation, but the story is way out there (then again, this is anime...). Anyway, it's got my attention, and I'll have to watch the rest of it!

The main character, Roger...I think that's his name, sounds like Spike from Cowboy Bebop. Infact, is it me or does the Major look like Jet Black?? My one complaint about the show was that Big-O reminded me of Popeye with it's big forearms. I can over look that though. The car was cool too, kind of like a regular looking "Batmobile".

pretty good show! It reminds me of a mix between batman, cowboy bebop, and old 70's giant robot shows. But using spike's voice for roger just annoys me...

I didn't realy like the voice either. Not very original but ah well... it works. Didn't realy like the music either cept for like its theme song (didn't like Blue Sub. No. 6 music either... just didn't seem to fit to me). Robots kinda look strange too but it's all just small stuff, overall it seems like a neat show and I'm giving it a shot
