I finished Dragonball Z awhile ago (mainly manga, various many anime episodes). As for the Dragonball Z episodes showing in Cartoon Network (CA), it's at the Garlic Junior Saga.

here in OZ, we are still on the Namek saga with Goku just arriving on Namek and defeating the first of the Ginyu

We're up to "Enter Goku" at the moment. On monday we get to where we were when the series started repeating (d'oh d'oh d'oh) "Goku....Super Saiyan?" apparantly we get new episodes from tuesday onwards. (thank god for the manga translations is all i can say :D)
