If you think about for a few seconds, Ranma always has the bad part of the cake! He always has to take the chance to not get wet when he walks on the street or some place else and that's where my question comes in... why he doen't carry an umbrella or something? I know that he's a man but Ryoga has one (a heavy one) but he dosen't take chances.

And for Akane... I belive that in the inside she likes that but only for Ranma cuz... you know why! She likes to be watch by him and Ranma likes it too.

Ranma doesn't carry an umbrella because A.) he's a moron and B.) he isn't a wanderer like Ryouga. More or less, that's the main reason why Ryouga has it. He needs it in his travels an' such. Besides, he'd look stupid if he carried it. ^^ But with it strapped to his pack, he looks kakkoi. ^^

Also, the umbrella weighs A LOT so Ryoga uses it as part of his workouts and as a weapon. Ranma's style of martial arts doesn't really need weapons, he just uses his hands and feet, and if he was laways carrying an umbrella arround it would be more of a hinderance than a benefit.
