MK Rayearth?

I can't remember if information has been posted on this before but I am planning on purchasing the MK Rayearth DVD box set #1 and I was wondering if this anime series was worthwhile to get?

HECK YEAH! It's really good. But then, I'm a huge fan of CLAM so I think pretty much everything they do is terrific :o

Yeah, i think you'll like MKR, its a good medieval/fantasy/adventure anime with a little touch of humor and character development galore^^. Plus the plot is interesting to follow.^^

Thanks for the comments, from what I read in your replies it should be a good to series to watch. So I just placed my order for the series. I can't wait to get it. :D

The first season is a little bad until you get to the ending. After watching the ending, you will see all the season from a different point of view and you'll like it. The second season is very good, although the ending isn't as good as the first one.

CLAMP is one great company and a great female founders to boot...

MKR is awesome, and the first series ending is superb. I absolutely did not believe it when I heard someone call it "predictable". Now, unless she was psychic, I don't see anything really predictable about it! It's a sweet story though, and I enjoyed it.

Piece of advice: never, ever listen to the dubbed opening if you intend to keep your hearing ability and/or sanity. It's just...wrong.

*lol* You're right, Snowcherry! I'd forgotten that I rented it once and the opening was dubbed. It was so bad! It was funny! (No offense intended to anyone who liked it; after all, my husband liked it too.) It just didn't sound right at all to me.

Magic Knight Rayearth worth buying alright. I've got the whole Manga series. You should really buy it. Even my 7 year old sis likes it.

Well, I don't know about failures.... It certainly brought in a great deal of money to them. I mean, two series, an OAV, a video game, and lots and lots of merchandise dosen't exactly sound like a failure. I personally like the second season, mainly because of all the bishonen ^^
