Is there going to be a second series for VanDread?

I just finished watching episode 13, and it was cool, but it left SO many unanswered questions! Like:

(SPOILER alert)

Like why did the heads of the male and female planets erase the warning about the enemy? Why were the Dreads able to merge with the Vanguard? What was the green flash thing that happened to Hibiki at the end of ep 12 and the beginning of ep 13?


I hope there is a second season, and I hope it comes soon, cuz I'm confused..... :(

1) Because the enemy is from earth. They were sent to harvest the colonists skin and most likely the heads are in on it.

2) Because they were caught in the Pexis with Hibiki's Vanguard and were morphed as a result just like the colony ship.

3) Not sure. Perhaps a view to his own soul aka Eva or perhaps this is tied to the pexis. Its never really explained.
