What the hell is this Big-0 ----!

My friend told me about it and he said it was mecha. I watched it and it doesnt even look like anime! It looks like the guys who made the Batman cartoon made it!
Its weird as hell too, but its pretty cool. But like any anime, it will never compare to Evangelion! Could somebody just explain big o to me?

Well first of all, it IS anime, and it IS created by the same people who made the batman series. And its about a guy named Roger Smith, who is an agent type of guy, and he tries to solve the mystery why everyone in the city has lost there memory.

Ok..... *catches breath and gets ready to anwer without flaming* Big-O is made by the same people who did the season one animation for batman. And yes batman season one came from japan :). Number two..... The series is really a superb series and you shouldn't judge it so harsly and quickly. Do realize that this is a very new anime from japan ... 2 years old only i do believe and it is a different anime style which isnt very common, but hell alot of new character styles are coming out every day. And as for music.... some music is still the same in the Big O but..... if you decide to ever by the soundtrack.... its DAMN good.... or if you would like to d/l it... its on napster on someone's hotlist named *cough SephirothTG* Just one note on the music.... get a song called Now and forever...the song is in english and was the japanese ending to the series...and its very good !_! damn those bastards for changing it. :)
