Tenchi pen and paper RPG?

I saw a book for the Tenchi Muyo RPG, in the place i usualy go to buy my AD&D and other rpg stuff and i was wondering if it was worth getting. So could anyone tell me more about it?

I only looked at the back of the book since it was polybaged the book and the art looked very, but thats not what make a good game and there was very little information. But if its Tenchi it have to be at least a bit good. What i usualy think about a rpg is that its not the engine that make it good but those who play it.(even though some engines really slow down the roleplay)

well if your a customer, then you can always ask to have the bag opened for you.

of course the people often see the face go to a show of disappointment and then the book is returned.

i take this to have a 'good' on the end of it?

hmm. well, im not much of an RPGer but i would like to see that art for my self.

i wonder if i could find something online.

I said the art looked good because it must've been the same as in the anime if i remember well. I'll have to check it out again next time i go to Quebec city (about an hour of route from where i live). But still, if i find more info, i'll come tell it in this thread. I think i'm getting kinda adicted to the board, so maybe i'll join the misc(open) rpg soon, since i still have to see the eva serie, maybe after i've seen it i will join the eva rpg.

Good news! I just bought the book(very expensive, but when you see it, you know its worth all this money) For the book design, this is probably the most beautiful rpg handbook i've seen so far. As for the game, it seems very good. You can decide to play as an existing character, create your own one, play in whatever setting you want, wetter it is the OAV setting, TV or any other existing or your own creation setting. It can also act as a info book about Tenchi Muyo!, it has in depth characters description with LOTS of details(each main character taking about 3 pages, not counting their stats pages), LONG episode sumaries for the OAV, and very in depth description and explanation of the setting and area, from Tenchi's house maps to Galaxy Police and many other things. The system is not too complicated and is made to necessite the less dice rolling possible, using only two 6-sided dices. I am looking forward to play it and am now creating stats for Kiyone, since they just included a brief description of her, not the very extensive multi pages of description and stats the more important characters were given.

i would be very interested in those descriptions and the all the other stuff.hmmm, you dont have access to a good scanner do you, or perhaps be one to religiously type out all the good stuff???

The artwork is mostly directly from the OAV and Tenchi official stuff, so you can find them in most Tenchi Muyo! images gallery except there are more than 500 of them. The descriptions are VERY long spanning 21 pages for oav summaries, 36 pages for characters descriptions,18 pages for area's descriptions. So i doubt i could scan them if i had a scanner or type them. Plus for scanning, this is copyrighted material, so i couldnt do it anyway without having chances of getting sued. The name of the book is "Tenchi Muyo! RPG and Ressource Book" with a close up of Ryoko's face on the top an my fave Tenchi Muyo! picture at the back(the one where Tenchi's head is a bit out of water with Ayeka,Sasami,Ryo-Ohki, Ryoko and Mihoshi all over each other over Tenchi's head. I might post this image if you wanna see it) It is done by a company named Gardians of Order, wich is specialized in anime style RPGs who made a Sailor Moon RPG, a Dominion Tank Police RPG, Demon City Shinjuku, Big eyes Small mouth. as i say im more for the descriptions and if they are as good as your making them sound i will look into this.
