The personalitys in 2040 are totaly changed from those in 2032. so which do you think is better The new or the old?

lemme try to clear this up.

BGC 2032/33/34 whatever and BGC 2040 are NOT linked, timeline wise anyway. Yes, they use the same characters and stuff, but the storyline is changed a bit. The year (2033 vs 2040) have obviously changed. :D

In the oavs, we start out by seeing all knight sabers as a group already. Everybody knows each other, yadda yadda yadda. In 2040, IMO, a lot of the focus is on Linna. She's a country gal getting a taste of city life, and JOINS the Knight Sabers. From there, they fight the evils of Genom, etc. :)

Amazon.com have currently got the original Bubblegum Crisis series on DVD for US$60..., it's called BGC - MegaSeries, & I believe that this DVD set also contains the BGC Hurricane Live music videos as well (unlike the first BGC - Collector's Suite MegaPack..., ) :D

i figured this thread would be a good one to revive... but only if ppl have seen both series...

between 2040 and 2033... of the characters personalities i prefer... (but i have only seen the first 5 eps of 2033 so uh yeah)

Priss : 2033 priss, shes much nicer towards other ppl... :p

Nene : 2040 nene, the 2033 one is just stupid. :mad:

Syllia : 2040 syllia. shes much more interesting ;)

Linna : 2033 linna. although im not sure yet but i think that i prefer 2033 over 2040 linna

Mackey : ??? 2040 mackey is such a lil cutie, but i dont know enough of 2033 mackey to deside yet :kawaii:

Mason : 2040 mason, but only coz his character got more od a share in the story.. so we actualy got to know who/what he was :rolleyes2

Cheif of ADP : 2033 cheif, hes much funnier :lol:

Pretty much agree with most of what hf_girl says.

2032 Priss. I don't really see 2040 taking the time out to help a struggling single mother.
2040 Nene is annoyingly cute whereas 2032 Nene is just annoying.
2040 Sylia. Nut cases are always amusing.
2040 Linna. 2032 was too obsessed with money for my liking.
Neither Mackey. 2040 was just a wuss and 2032 was just too perverted.

Yes, it includes Nene, while Nene is still my favorite 2040 character, I like the 2032 characters more. Execpting maybe Sylia.

I have only seen the fisrt three 2032 but all the characters seemd the same to me. The only exception was priss, and only because she trys to beat up a boomer with our a hard suit every now and then. They seemed rather 2 dimensional. But don't get me wrong, I really liked it. I wanna see the rest now

same here , i've only seen the first 3 (other 2 DVDs are on order :D ). priss seems to get hurt a lot in the first 3 EPs .

And 2032 Priss was pretty good.

And thats another reason I like 2032 more, in 2040 the only ingureys sustained were Prisses bite marks.

Nene 2033 is the best (Sorry havent seen 2040). In Ep8 Scoop Chase she basicly has the whole ep to her self. She was even willing to die in order to save the ADPolice building, and she showed how usefull she can be. Also you cant help but feel sorry for her with everyone picking on her.
