Before "Auska strikes" why were the Angels attacking Tokyo-3???
Because before episode 8 Nerv didn't have Adam/Lilith.
At least after "Auska strikes" the angels had a purpose, to merge with Adam/Lilith
But before "Auska Strikes" there was no reason to go there, If they wanted to go somewhere they should have looked for Adam/Lilith before Kaji got hold of it.
So why attack tokyo-3???

Also if the angels work inderpendly, who told them to Attack Nerv and Tokyo-3

the Angle attacked tokyo 3 because they thought lilth was there and was mistakened for adam, and the angles dont work independently i read the plots for the two new epsoids which wont be comming out for awhile the counsle sent them but its kinda hard to figure out

white moon was destroyed, so the angels thought adam was in black moon - why they go there or how they find it is anyone's guess, maybe there is an unknown energy w/c they can sense or detect, something like a star of bethlehem w/ guided the magi. now lilith was in black moon or geo front she didnt leave, she was already there during ep01 and before that. showing her immediately in ep 01 didnt serve any purpose.

the angels were sleeping - just like Sandalphon when they awaken, they just look for that energy source and go to it

In all the epsoids there was no moon or nothing that would relate to it that makes no sence

To add to the chit chatness of this thread.

the 3 magi were none other than astrologers, now they would have actually have been on the look out for something that ws going to happen around that time.

there are 2 dates given which might be the day.

around 42 ev (or bce for those not in the know) there was a major conjunction with Jupiter and some other planets, this would have caused a very brigth star over bethlehem,

and then there is something similar around 2ev.

so if jesus is real and the myth about him is also real it is possible that astronomers have already givine the exact days which he could have been born, of course it goes against what most religions think and is dismisted,
but then most of these idiots actually believe he was born in december.

the only thing shepards are doing in the fields in bethlehem in december is dying from the cold, certainly not herding sheep.
