it interests me that 02 was used to ambush the angels. It sounds to me like it was never intended to be used as the main line attack or defence but always as a powerful auxillery.

Hmmmm i read the definition here and it says her mother is Souryu.Kyouko.Langley
but then in this thread

It says Asuka's real mother Souryu.Kyouko.Zeppelin ?
Langley ? Zeppelin ? is that the same mother ?

Asuka's mother's last name is Zeppelin. It was written on her gravestone. Most people would make the obvious assumption that her last name is Souryu considering it is Asuka's last name as well.

What does the name Nigoki mean exactly? And shouldn't it be Nigouki. I know that ni is 2. I can't remember what go means, but I know that gou is used to number something man-made. What does ki mean, though. Is that supposed to be thought of in the terms of life, as ki/chi can be translated to life or energy. Also, not really on topic for this forum, but oh well. What is the name of Eva 01. Is it shogouki or shongouki?
