(If Nuriko would have stayed alive until the summoning of the Suzaku, he would have wished for the god to turn him into a true blue lady. - Hell, such a beautiful anime character should have been a lady at first place!)

Hey there, welcome to Animeboards! I don't know how the story would go if Nakago was a woman (probably not that much different), but you can see him dressed up as a women in the FY Bus Trip special. That was pretty damn funny :lol:

If Nurilo was really a woman, Tamahome would still end up with Miaka, he was never interested in Nuriko in the first place. I would guess that Hotohori would probably end up marrying Nuriko, he did marry someone who looked like her. I don't think that that much else would have changed....

But Nuriko ended up being happy as a man, so I don't think it would have ever happened

If Nuriko HAD have been a woman, I think she would have tried just as hard to pair Miaka and Tama up the way HE did...and its probably true that Hori-sama would've married Nuri-chan, 'cause Houki looked JUST like Nuri-chan, and even had the same voice. (Personally, I think Hori-sama would've picked Nuri-chan if he hadn't have been Emperor and needed an heir...)

If Nuriko was a girl, his... Er, her character would not be half as interesting. The reason I love Nuri is because he gave up his life as a man for Kourin. It's so sweet how self-sacraficing he is, and if he were really a woman in the first place, it just would work... But yes, if Nuri were a woman, she would have ended up with Hotohori in the end. It's kinda obvious, because Hotohori ends up marrying someone who looks just like Nuriko.

If Nuriko were a girl....Nuriko would have had a little brother named...uh...Kouron. She would have witnessed her lil bro die, then would have sworn to live as him, braiding her hair tight like a man, or even cutting it. She would have become a guard instead of one of the ladies at the palace, and when Miaka came, she would have fallen in love with her. (ugh...there are times I wish Nuriko had never been one of the thousand men vying for the odango wannabe's affections...the dream sequence doesn't quite make up for it). But wait! Miaka would have accidentally found out Nuriko's secret at some random stream in the wilderness. Nuriko would have then gradually become more feminine, eventually falling in love with _fill in blank here_ It wouldn't have necessarily been Hotohori, as that love from (the male) Nuriko was based on his projected personality of Kourin. So...possibly Tasuki or even Chichiri? Who knows...

And male, female, one's sex isn't as important as society's pressures on it...in other words, I'll take Nuriko either way! Nuriko wa Nuriko!

probably not, till the part where miaka exposed nuriko's 'chest', and those other shirtless nuriko scenes.....

anyway, if nuriko were a girl, i dont think there would be much difference.... well, except that he/she wouldnt be in love with miaka anymore. nuriko would definitely end up marrying hotohori...

But I don't like it if Nuriko becomes a she cause......I just don't. The major reason why he turned out like that was to keep his sister's memory alive so I think it's awkward if that happens.

Yep. Hotohori and Houki are sweet, but I think Hotohori + Nuriko have more chemistry. And how about Nuriko/Tasuki? :lol:

Again, yep. That's the storyline that made Nuriko one of my favourite FY characters. To make Nuriko a woman throughout the whole series...that would have taken away from the depths that make Nuriko who he is.

Well, it's all part of what makes stories like these great and memorable... and FY made us care about Nuriko more than enough, so that at his death scene we hoped that someone would reach him in time to help out, that Mitsukake would make it in time, that Nuriko would be brought back to life, *somehow*. Ah hell, I'll join you in bawling... :bawling:

Was she? I heard that she was reborn into a crossdressing secret agent in a radioplay.(havent heard it myself, and i dunt know Jap btw) Hotohori became a pop star, Mits became a soccer player and Chiriko a scientist.

I hate to admit it but I kinda cried with that episode in the series when Nuriko fought with Ashtare( not sure of the spelling) and then died... I just couldn't help myself.
