Well from the Red Cross Glossary Part 2, Keel Lorentz's is described... and i am not sure, was Keel a real person to begin with or artificial intelligence ?

Keel Lorenz is the wandering Jew of Biblical legend. he spit on Christ at the crucifiction and as a punishment was forced to walk the earth forever. This would make him over 2000 years old. It could also explain how he ended up with the lance of longuinus and lilith. After 2000 years your body wouldn't be in too good shape so he had his body partially reconstructed. the reason why he wants to start the impact is so that he may finally rest.

Wow that guy is old...
So Keel Lorentz ended up in Japan ? I like to see how Keel convinced the authorities to spend hugh amounts of money reconstructing a body for him...

The wandering Jew is not as old as you would think,
That ledgend was more of a medievil addon, not part of the gospels. Thats not ot say the myth was not known in the 300s ADE or E.V. but it only became popular last millenium.
Im sure alot of people spat on Jesus, everything he was was Blasphamy to the Jews, and he was seen as bit of a rebel to the Romans/ Greeks, which is not good in a culture which the State is important and an individual is only valuble in their contirbution to the State.
Socretes was offered exile rather than execution, he choose execution as it would have been less degrading than exile, complete abandonment by the State.

Although it is never mentioned in the series, I think it is likely that Keel is the Wandering Jew. If he was around in the peroid after Jesus' death, it would explain how he could get his hands on a Secret version of the Dead Sea Scrolls: he would have taken it directly from the Essenes (a religious sect that wrote all the Dead Sea Scrolls that we know of) themselves. However, Keel could also have been a Essene himself
I've heard from somewhere that in the latter episodes, there is a scene which has been cut out in which Fuuyustki refers to "The Old Men of SEELE" as the Essenes.
This would explain why SEELE has a version of the Dead Sea scrolls that no one else does... because they were the ones who worte them

I would sya that not even the members of SEELE knwo who the other members of SEELe are. That would help mojorly with security. Even in a meeting of themselves they would not reveal theier true form.
