Trigun is a new anime to me.

I'm just curious...is it possible to give a spoiler-free, one paragraph summary of this anime (this can determine a lot about the anime.)

In short, this anime is simply amazing. It builds a strong compeling story while still providing tons of laughs. You simply can't go wrong with Trigun.

In Brief, the story takes place on a desert planet, where people live a life similar to the wild west. On this planet there is a legendary outlaw known as Vash the Stampede, nicknamed the humanoid typhoon for his ability to level entire cities. The story follows this unique outlaw who has a huge bounty on his head ($$60,000,000,000 to be exact). I really can't say anymore than that without spoiling some of the story.

One of the shows real strength is its charecters. They aren't your generic run of the mill anime charecters. All the charecters you will see stand out in their own special way and all provide something unique to the Trigun mix. I am a stickler for charecters, and this show delivers some of the best.

Bottom Line: IMHO This is the best anime out there. I enjoyed it more than bebop and eva (can I say that here :o ). You will laugh, you will cry and in the end you will love Trigun.

PS. The less you know about this series, the more you will enjoy it, trust me.

Trigun is cool. I'm just at the point (dvd 4) where Vash's past is beginning to catch up to him (god for some reason it's kinda like Bebop in that way). Speaking of which I still like Bebop better than Trigun. Though Trigun is still WAY up there. Maybe I should finish Trigun before I make a decision.
