i like cardcaptor sakura.

i haven't seen much of the series but i have a fansub of the movie and i like it alot.

Love it :) I've seen the whole of the first series and would like to see more :) Didn't think much of the movie tho.

They're going to show it on teletoon in Canada(where i live) so i was wondering how it was. I don't have cable TV, but if it is any good, i might ask someone who as it to tape the serie for me to see it.

The original series is worth watching...BUT...if you're seeing the version that is screening on US tv, that was BUTCHERED...they cut out the first 12 episodes (12 episodes!!!) to make the series "appealing to boys"...I mean, right...tka e a series that is aimed at girls, and try to turn it into a boys series...that makes sense :P

Yeah the US version sux. Well I like the series a lot. Theyre putting it in Canda? I heard that theyre gonna put "cardcaptors"... well its my fav. anime. Anyone seen the 2nd movie???

Second movie hasn't been released in Japanese theatres yet, I don't think.

I've only seen the movie and I found it pretty damn lame.
A few good moments were had, but it was so airy-fairy and pedestrian that has given me a low view of CCS.

So, the series is better hey? Well, I won't write it off yet.....

I havent seen Card Captor but I've seen a series like it and heres my chance to find out its name (I forgot). Based around a High School Magic Club, there are 2 instructors, one is obsessed with women and the other one is Gay. Its a really funny series and i'd like to see more. Their Uniforms look like the ones from Card Captor, the main theme is "Do More" Whats the series its driving me nuts?

Where did you see it :lol: I thought the movie was worth watching for something different...

As for butchering...It seems that American's don't like the Japanese versions, so they 'Americanise' it... :(
