how do we know that kaoru has the angel name of tabris? i've read teh dead sea scrolls (or as much as i could) and tehre wa s nothing from eva. so then how do we know? it was never in teh show.

Well the only place where Tabris can be seen is upon a card, im sure there is a link to it somewhere on this MB

I have a jpeg of it on my HDD somewhere i think.

From what i have heard and seen, this is the only place that Tabris is associated with Karou.

So yes, thee is nothing within the series or movies that place Karou as Tabris, perhaps this was even added after it was all done and said. it is hard to really know

im not completely sure but in the "100% Newtype book" or "Newtype NERV reports" Kaworu is mentioned as Tabris

as for the DSS and eva, (sigh - i keep saying this over and over again... but anyway)

the historical DEAD SEA SCROLLS (DSS) are NOT TO BE associated with the SECRET DEAD SEA SCROLLS (SDSS) w/c are used by Seele in Eva. if ever there is to be a scroll w/c we may associate w/ the SDSS, it could be the so-called ANGEL scroll w/c is possessed by the Benedictine monks. this scroll was recently found and possessed the same characteristics (writing style, etc) of the DSS. however nothing whatsoever has been released by the Benedictines as to the contents of this scroll.

Is their a release date for this scroll the benedictine monks have or is going to be kept a secret Ryezen.

well, for one thing, the first thing these guys are doing (or so they say) is to verify the authenticity of this particular scroll (or set of scrolls) - and like due process, it wont happen overnight. however knowing the Church, any material w/c does not go with their doctrines is either marked as heretical or fake - such as the Gospel of St. Thomas (was that the one mentioned in the movie Stigmata?) w/c i still have to read...
