I would like to know this. If all of the angels needed to be defeated before SEELE or NERV could start the third impact properly, then what about humans. Misato did say that humans are the 18th angel, so how are they defeated? Or is this what happens during the End of Evangelion. Or was this already discussed and I'm beating a dead horse? Any help would be appreciated. And one more question. Why do all of the great anime games never get translated and released in America? (this has to do with Eva because of Eva64, which I assume will never be released in english)

Firstly, I don't think I know everything, Iknow so. Secondly Gendo only got Ritsuko because she felt she needed some thing to complete her, and so did what her mother did. Gendo just took advantage of Naoko's desire for him because he is a jerk. As Lela said in Futurama "So long, Jerkwad"

This is a question relating to a movie, which I have never seen, but from I what I have gathered I think think this is right. If an angel did come in contact with Adam then the third impact would begin right? Maybe humans could only come in contact with Adam once the Angels (possibly the guardians of Adam) had been destroyed, sort of a fail safe to make sure only the best and strongest could come in contact with him.

Open up a new topic discussion and we could run it together. Any replys would come from us and access if he agrees. What do you say? It could be an international union of some of the world's best thinkers. Canada and Australia united for a common cause. Or you could ignore my babble and continue beating me in the NGE IQ bid. When EVA-0 goes nuts for the fist time, do you think it was specifically attaking Gendo?
And when it goes nuts for the second time(with Shinji as the pilot), was it attacking Rei?

Eva 00 (when Rei was pilot) attacked Gendo because if you remember, the first Eva was unit 00. So when Yui was wiped out it should have been in Unit 00. If it was transferred into Unit 01, then some remaingin memory. There is also the fact in episode 25 that Rei fears the day when she would be abandoned, and may have been taking pre-vengance on him. When Shinji was piloting, the impression of Rei was still in the Eva. Rei may hate herself so much that she really wants to kill herself. You'll notic that it went through the exact same moves as when it was trying to kill Gendo.

I have gone through your site. I have skimmed over thousands of eva sites, and I don't stay on them long, but your site has made me put my feet up. This is the best site I have been to, your honour. I am down here in cold and, right now, freezing Newcastle.
I have never before met someone who was so dedicated to NGE before, maybe Capt Jake, but...

Well I may not have the such high ego border line as da cap and David, and I may not go into that "I here for the people crap". I just want to learn everything I can about NG. So David you seem confident that any question be asked of you, however it is impossible to leran 100% of anything (however your probably argue that) so I also invite you to join the discussion I planned which will commence after my Mid year exams. Their are certain holes in our knowledge and between the 4 people I have invited I believe we can fill them up for each other.

Somewhere i also raised the poin that i believe that 00 went beserk because it wants to kill Rei. That Rei does want to die so much and 00 knows this. Rei mentions bonds with 00. Maybe someone knows where i put this up before, that 00 tried to kill Gendo first cause then Rei could die, this failed so it tried to do it more directly.

Well I'm sorry if I came off as a bit of a jerk back there. I would love to do that. I'm just naturally competitive that's all so this looked like a challenge but now that you explained it I feel like a real jerk. I'd be glad to start a fresh thread where we can all work together. I would just like to say, Acess, that I personally do not agree to the duplication of Anime in that manner. My understanding is that money for the Anime distributor is lost, and the animators lose money to put towards better production. Sure, it would still be the same Anime, but it would not be as good as it could be. I had four video cassettes on which I taped all 26 episoded of Neon Genisis and I could have been satisfied with that, but I wanted something official, so I bought the tapes. I even went so far as to buy the Adam and Eve books (even though I can only look at the pictures) because it was on official release of full picture shots and the Eva models. I also have S2 Works becuase of the background music. Sure, I could have just recorded midi's from the inter net but I wanted the official version. After reading back on what I have written I think I've flogged a dead horse into a pulp, so I'll just say my point. Do what you want, but you face the consequences, and most people would prefer the Official version.

ok i got a question, u guys reckon your so good. doubled up together, yous should be able to give me a really crap answer.
in one of the episodes, when eva01 looses all it's power and stuff, and gets a arm ripped off. it suddenly get's all this power from somewhere and starts kicking the angels ass, then eating it. explain to me how this happend? (and don't tell me that it was destined to do that, or because it just had to)

Well your in a bad mood. Well I don't quite what you mean at the start but are you saying that even everyone at this message board put together can give you a crap answer, or were you just refering to David Ikari, because he knows his stuff.
I will try to help, well after Shinji's time ran out, he lost control of the EVA, his mother inside the "savage eva beast" came to help Shinji her son, by doing this the prmitive beast like side of the the eva was released. As Ritsuko said the armour are the bounds that tie the eva to our will. Without it the eva is free to do as it wishes. So the energy to begin with came directly from Yui the soul of Unit-01.
And since the primitive natural side of the eva took, over it began to consume the angel like all wild creatures who attack the prey. No creature but man kills without neccessity, so the EVA attacked the Angel and consumer it, Eating the S2 unit inside the Angel to have unlimited power, so could function indefenitely.

Atmic, not mmeaning to be rude or anythingm but someone has to get that monkey out of your arse. Access is right. The soul in Unit 01 (Yui) became active when Shinji called it a monster. Unit 01 had finally become self aware of it's existence and had a perfect 400% sync with Shinji.
Simmonds from the Removalists said it best. "If you don't get that chip of your shoulder I'll turn it into a bloody great log. Knock it off."I'm guessing you don't talk to people often.

I really love reading all of everyone's posts cause it helps me learn more about Eva... when SBS Australia airs NGE for the 3rd time later this year... it will be a better viewing experience after reading about more of NGE in this board and on my site.

I'm just naturally competitive that's all so this looked like a challenge but now that you explained it I feel like a real jerk. I'd be glad to start a fresh thread where we can all work together. To tell you the truth the workload is getting a little large and I'd love some official help I go away for one day and I'm already overwhelmed. So sure I accept your offer.

I would just like to say, Acess, that I personally do not agree to the duplication of Anime in that manner. My understanding is that money for the Anime distributor is lost, and the animators lose money to put towards better production. Sure, it would still be the same Anime, but it would not be as good as it could be. I had four video cassettes on which I taped all 26 episoded of Neon Genisis and I could have been satisfied with that, but I wanted something official, so I bought the tapes. I even went so far as to buy the Adam and Eve books (even though I can only look at the pictures) because it was on official release of full picture shots and the Eva models. I also have S2 Works becuase of the background music. Sure, I could have just recorded midi's from the inter net but I wanted the official version. After reading back on what I have written I think I've flogged a dead horse into a pulp, so I'll just say my point. Do what you want, but you face the consequences, and most people would prefer the Official version.

Sure I 100% agree, I am a person who owns both subbed and dubbed episodes, the music albums, the models, and stuff. But if the vids aren't availible and not going to be, thats another story.......

ok i got a question, u guys reckon your so good. doubled up together, yous should be able to give me a really crap answer.
in one of the episodes, when eva01 looses all it's power and stuff, and gets a arm ripped off. it suddenly get's all this power from somewhere and starts kicking the angels ass, then eating it. explain to me how this happend? (and don't tell me that it was destined to do that, or because it just had to)

Well your in a bad mood. Well I don't quite what you mean at the start but are you saying that even everyone at this message board put together can give you a crap answer, or were you just refering to David Ikari, because he knows his stuff.
I will try to help, well after Shinji's time ran out, he lost control of the EVA, his mother inside the "savage eva beast" came to help Shinji her son, by doing this the prmitive beast like side of the the eva was released. As Ritsuko said the armour are the bounds that tie the eva to our will. Without it the eva is free to do as it wishes. So the energy to begin with came directly from Yui the soul of Unit-01.
And since the primitive natural side of the eva took, over it began to consume the angel like all wild creatures who attack the prey. No creature but man kills without neccessity, so the EVA attacked the Angel and consumer it, Eating the S2 unit inside the Angel to have unlimited power, so could function indefenitely.

Atmic, not mmeaning to be rude or anythingm but someone has to get that monkey out of your arse. Access is right. The soul in Unit 01 (Yui) became active when Shinji called it a monster. Unit 01 had finally become self aware of it's existence and had a perfect 400% sync with Shinji.
Simmonds from the Removalists said it best. "If you don't get that chip of your shoulder I'll turn it into a bloody great log. Knock it off."I'm guessing you don't talk to people often.

hehe Atomic I don't think you need to test people's attention here... everyone here is devoted to the mysteries of Evangelion...
I really love reading all of everyone's posts cause it helps me learn more about Eva... when SBS Australia airs NGE for the 3rd time later this year... it will be a better viewing experience after reading about more of NGE in this board and on my site.
