Hm. . . "Seeramuun dai suki desu" . . ?

From my limited Japanese. . . "I really like Sailormoon"?

I'm pretty sure that's at least. . .close.

Close!! I think it means "Sailormoon is my number one like" or something close to that!! I did Japanese for four years, and that's pretty much all I remember how to say, three years later!!

Really? I'm pretty sure that 'suki desu' is 'I like.' And 'dai' is 'big'. . .though it'd be weird said as 'Sailormoon big I like,' so. . . ^_^;;

Now that would be good for some laughs, EVA2000. Imagine most of us trying to put toghter a sentence. Hell, we can't acomplish that in English! Heh,Heh <VBG>

^_^ That would be funny!!

I'm not sure, Yuusuke, you could be right!! That's just the definition our Japanese teacher gave us, but we always wondered if she was just sneaking a look at the textbook before she came to class and really had no idea of what she was talking about!!

Well, I'm just taking what I feel is right, along with some words I know. ^_^;;
Oh, and a handy little Japanese-English dictionary.
Anyways. .a forum like that would be kind'a fun.

Where I am, the new sailor moon dubbed episodes are going to be aired and I was wondering of they were good.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with liking dubbed anime!! It doesn't make someone less hardcore! The first anime I watched were all dubbed, but that's because Austrlia's kind of limited in the amount of subbed/raw footage available to the everyday person walking down the street. Dubbing is a good way of getting people involved in anime, it's like a stepping stone up into the original stuff.

The new (dubbed) episodes are supposed to be good, for a dub, from what I've heard. Besides the changing of Chibi-moon to Mini-moon, and some complaints about the voice actors abilities, people have been really positive about it. Hopefully the dubbing will continue through the movies and right up to episode 200 (the final episode).

Ummm...thanks for telling me chibiAsuka, I hope it isn't that bad. Anyways, Sailor Moon was the first anime show that I really paid attention to before I got hooked on anime or even knew what it was. Since I was younger I liked it because it was the only good show on during lunch when I went home. Also, it was one of the only cartoons on. I agree that the origianl Japanese script is better but since I don't have access to the episodes in Japanese (SUBTITLED) I don't have much choice. I am sorry if this makes me less of a HARD CORE fan but I watch what I can get. Besides such movies as Ninja Scroll weren't badly dubbed and I highly enjoyed it.

I agree that it kinda ruins the experience (I didn't disagree with you there) because I think that seeing the original stuff is amazing. However having access to it isn't always possible. Anywho, I agree with you that I would rather see it in Japanese so much more then in English, so lets stop this and people can then get back on topic: Sailor Moon
