Big O's Episode numbers?

Does anyone know how many episodes BIG O has? Just today, Cartoon Network aired the first episode again!

I didn't see Yesterday's episode. What the hell happened there. The series didn't end their did it? I was sure it was a TV series with at least 26 episodes.

this might have something to do with the fact that i only saw about 5 episodes, but i feel like they didn't explain anything? is that just me, or should i watch the whole thing?

THAT THE SERIES IS NOT DONE... well technically.

When it ended, we were just getting into the meat of the series, but due to funding, the series has not been completed yet. I've read that in the Japanese version, the last line on the screen "We have come to terms" is actually "to be continued". I hope they do get the money to finish the series though, it was just getting real good :(
