i just got the first dvd of lain today and watched the first two episodes and i've got to say. it's delcious so far. I love how the show leaves you in suspense. ah... and i'm glad that this show doesn't concentrate on action either. it's quite the breather. still, i can't say that it ranks with bebop or eva...yet :D

No doubt...

But I have one piece of advice when you plan on buying the second Tape/DVD also buy the third one as well. The second set of episodes really doesnt progress the story along as I hoped, its basically just a few side stories.

Anyone else agree with this?

----, buy them all at once and save yourself the trouble! :lol:

No, I feel the story progression is fairly even throughout the episodes, except for the last 4. The details covered in the second volume are important later on, IMHO.

yeah, the progression is definitely the same... if not even more on 'Knights'...

in fact, the more i think about it.. 'Knights' has the most information {with the exception of 'Infornography' and 'Love'}

i think the importance of most of what was shown on the second tape/dvd will become more apparent as you finish the series. or atleast i thought so...
