my first bubble gum 2040 dvd is in! I got a question.

Hey I was wondering if I should watch the first bubblegum crisis episodes b4 2040 or does it make a difference? I mean does watching 2040 cut the story in half or is 2040 all new?

No it really doesn't matter if you've watched 2032 before or after watching 2040.

I feel 2040 is like a re-telling of the Bubblegum Crisis world, and presenting the characters again with a new feel.

The only parallels the two have are the world it's set in and the characters, other than that the stories are pretty much different and the personalities of the main characters slightly altered.

You may want to watch the original series for comparision reasons but it shouldn't spoil any storyline or your enjoyment of the two series.
