If you're a hardcore fantasy lover, like The Lord of Rings Trilogy or Dungeons and Dragons (Forgotten Realms), then you will LOVE Record of Lodoss War.

If you like the OVA series, I suggest getting the TV series as well. Its not AS good as the OVA, but its still pretty good.

Totally see it but definitely OAV first, because it not only came out first, but the event in it are chronologically first. $100 seems like a lot to pay, i got the DVD box set for $60. Then again, sometimes VHS is more expensive when it comes to anime.

im not going to buy it-------im going to rent it, im fortunate enough that theres a anime rental place here in my town and ive probably rented the whole store, but i havent rented a couple titles that i dont know about
