What's even better is the Eva movie DVDs will be release in at least the UK on Sept 11, 200 - we have 2 days to watch the movies before the impact occurs..
hey was the 2nd impact date according to the Japanese timezone ? cause some countries it would of been Sept 10 or 12th ?

Atomic I didn't mean you, not to say your not an interesting and profound individual but the compliment was aimed at corpse, but if you would like to also take credit for it, fine, I have compliments for anyone who uses this board for the people here understand EVA at a deeper level than most any other people, so everyone reading this patt yourself on the back. And no I have no idea when 2nd Impact occurs, I tried but is becoming increasingly difficult.
First thing I looked for if a clock was displayed during that footage of 2nd impact. None
Then I checked up on a friend using ICQ who reads the Manga and he said it didn't say in the Manga. I thought about the position of the sun in proportion to that time of year, (becase we know the date) then I researched what time of the years that Antarctic has light and darkness for, nothing added up, after about ten minutes of time's and problem solving I released that just because Misato could see didn't mean their was solar light, Adam reaching across the sky emmitted its own light, now im back to square one. Thanks for waisting my time (sarcastic tone).

The Sydney Olympics starts on September the 15th, (I think). It's going to be a bit hard to hold the games if the stadium is under water, and the competing nations are either evacuating their populations or engaged in war
In the Northern hemisphere, the sea level will probably rise over a couple of days, But Australia, South America and Africa will bear the brunt of the 2nd Impact, experiencing the change a lot quicker (ie a tidal wave)

The Tsunamis would be just one of the first effects. They probably wouldn't reach far north as Japan, though
However, water levels throughout the world would drastically rise overall. In the episode where Asuka and Shinji meet up and fight the aquatic angel (also in the clipshow in the middle of the series), I think I saw the remains of a Japanese City on the seabed.
Comments anyone?

Yeah teir is a city under their, no idea what city though, but it couldn't be Tokyo-1 or anything, because when the JSSDF "gave" their positron rifle to Nerv, we saw a map of Japan, and it was intact. It could of been a possibility that the Tusami hit Japan, but unlike Australia, Japan is moutaines (I think) so maybe the tusami couldnt get over the moutains like a natural defence, just a thought.

i think you need to watch the early episodes again.
when the 4th angel is swimming toward Tokyo-3 there's building under the water
when Asuka & Shinji are double-teaming the split-form angel theres buildings half submerged as well
AND when Eva-02 is being swallowed by the 6th(?) angel there's a quite deeply submerged city on the sea floor
so in the Post-Impact Eva world it would be safe to assume that the world's pretty stuffed
