Usually I get a yes from lots of people others say they just tolerate the anime because they get to see the girls animated.
The girls in the manga seemed to be more scantily clad and have lots of embarrassing accidents happening to them.

Actually, the Manga's claim to superiority lies in its ability to convey more character development without the constraints of half hour episodes.

The TV series, cute as it is, loses the focus on Romance and detracts into purile Mel Brooks/Monty Python humour. Entertaining, yes. Tender and touching romantic comedy that the original was, definitely not.
