Can anyone tell me about this pic. Why would the Slayers book make references to the End of Eva? I think its kinda odd most of it's in Japanese, but yet it saysEnd of Evangelion in clear English. Is this some kinda hoax or something? Sorry the pic is so large.

Hmmm... :confused2
To me, it looks like a magazine about anime that has a special on Slayers. I think that the EoE reference is a article in the magazine..
I don't know. We should get someone that can understand Japanese in here..

Then it poses the question, why is EOE is English when the rest is Japanese?
Hmm...
I don't know about that. Good question. :confused2

dont know:confused: but nice pic of lina!:smokin:
Torkm is right, Animage is just a maga zine with Lina on the cover and a feature on EoE.
Having English words sprinkled through the text is quite common on Japanese mags....at least the ones I've seen :)
Like Schizm said, Animage is a japanese animation magazine. And that english words are used on the covers is pretty normal. I could show you hundreds of examples from my own mag collection.
Lina is simply the cover girl and all the japanese/english words around her announce the most important articles of this Animage. That's it.

If you were into Japanese stuff in general like me, you'd know that they love english and american stuff, so you will often see it writen all over!

From my rudimentary Nihongo skills (don't know much kanji), I can determine that it is a cover of "Animage" magazine. The cover articles are the Slayers encylopedia, something about EoE, a Gundam Wing handbook, something on Ruonin Kenshin, and a few things I have no idea about...

Someone already covered this. Look back a little bit and you'll find out.
