Maehara Shinobu has got to be one of THE most adorable girls ever to be animated. Sweet, shy, considerate, and vulnerable; you cannot help but give her a huge bear hug every time you see her.
Such a pity, though, that her age differentiation with Keitaro is much too great, otherwise she would have found the happiness and security that she so sorely deserves.

To Akamatsu Ken from myself and many other likewise minded "Love Hina" fans:

May you give Shinobu a boy similar age to her that she can rely on, who would love her unconditionally, and protect her from all the evils of this cruel, harsh world. She has had a hard life, let do her road into adulthood be a happy one.

Acutally, she never dated him. She refused because her heart belongs to someone else. :D

And I must agree, Shinobu is one of the cuteset drawn, and acting, characters in all of anime.
