I don't know if this has been mentiones before, but I'll mention it anyway...

Pris- Woman who dresses in leather (by the appearance) and rides around on her motorcycle. Destroys boomers (or voomers, what ever blows your skirt up) in her spare time.

Leon- Works for the AD Police and destroys boomers for a job.

Now try this on for size:

Pris- Replicant who dresses as a punk. One of the four Deckerd has to 'retire'
Leon- One of the four replicants Deckerd has to 'reitre'

Top two names are from Bubblegum Crisis
The lower two are from Blade Runner.

y'know the eppisode (he he, little joke there) where the guy was working with the high preasure boomers the seen where he keeps zooming in, that's from blade runner too.

Come on that was the first thing I picked up in 2032. Its all one big homage to Bladerunner. From the Vangellis-esque music, to the similar squallid Tokyo to the character names and priss's band (The Replicants) to Genom Tower that looks like a more aerodynamic Tyrell Building.. Its all there

What year was blade runner made?

As for the non humanoid boomers in 2040 not all are like that.

They were way more human in 2032 though, every boomer in 2040 looks cheap and you can tell. Masons secretary, Lina's boss. Blade Runner was 1982 I think

What do you mean by cheap? They only realy used a couple types of boomers in 2032. Where as in 2040 they use heeps of different types... Mainly mass produced types at that....

I started this post almost straight after I had seen Blade Runner for the first time in an English Class.
